NEW: Springsteen live in London 2002 - 1DualLayer - October 27

brucevideos presents...

Does This Bus Stop At Wembley Arena?

27th October 2002
Wembley Arena, London, England

-=-=-=-=-=-

Features:

- The entire show on one packed 8.5GB Dual Layer DVD (no discs to swap!)
- 2 camera mix - see below for details
- dubbed with Crystal Cat's "London Night"
- menus and chapters
- artwork included

DVD Info:

Video:
Angle 1 - stage right, from the master tapes. First hour in high quality "XP" mode, remainder in "SP"
Angle 2 - screenshot, from DVD 1st gen (no vhs stage). Re-encoded to correct resolution, max 8mbps

Angles mixed in MPEG Video Wizard - synchronisation between the two angles is perfect. Stage right angle mixing is lossless - no quality reduction over original DVD source. Screenshot angle had to be re-encoded due to incorrect resolution (704x480 rather than 720x480).

This is not a 2-cam mix in the usual sense - the stage angle is the primary angle, the screenshot was only used when necessary - ie cuts, security ducks, heads in the way or a generally poor view. Very occasionally neither angle had a clear view - not much I could do there.

Audio:
Source is Crystal Cat's "London Night", downloaded in FLAC from a silver rip.
Dubbed with Sony Soundforge and MPEG Video Wizard.
Encoded to MPEG audio format with TooLAME @ 384kbps
- not enough room for uncompressed PCM audio, and 448kbps AC3 sounded utterly terrible. If you think that AC3 is better just because it has a higher bitrate and a fancy name you'd be wrong. No bass, flat and dull. Probably down to London Night as much as anything else.

Authoring:
All done in DVD Lab.

=====

PLEASE NOTE: THIS DVD USES A DOUBLE/DUAL LAYER DISC AND WILL NOT FIT ON A NORMAL DVD-R!

You may notice a brief pause during Mary's Place - this is the layer transition, and is normal.

Use Nero to burn, just like you would a normal DVD.
